IRL review: Crewcuts Furry Sweater Jacket (Cotton Milano Nina)

This was the single new arrival from the last JCrew rollout that I HAD to have.

So sweet, we almost can't stand it. Inspired by vintage British navy apparel, we've added a removable faux fur collar and little brass buttons to take it over the top. It's made from cozy cotton in a 12-gauge knit and is double breasted for extra warmth. We're crazy for it. Crewneck. Button placket. Three-quarter sleeves. Import. Dry clean. IRL Review:
 
Size 12 fits, with some room in the arms and body (I'm just wearing a cami underneath).  I might have even gone with a 10 but I think after washing it will be perfect, and the shoulders are perfect for me on the 12.  LOVE that it's a cotton knit (yay for low maintenance, never worrying about wool moth holes)and the detachable fur collar is soooooo cute.  It's the same nice faux fur as the fiona vest.

Here's my OOTD.  I set up my tripod for another project but didn't have time to mess with the photo much - hence the slight blurriness from afar and almost-didn't-make-it-in-the-frame cropping!

I am eagerly awaiting some F21 goodies.  {F21 boutique and the could-be-my-perfect-airplane-skirt are exempt from the banbanban. WHY? because the capsule collections are the kind that haunt you and THE SKIRT has been something I've been looking for ....oh, since 2003.}

Elusive Over the Knee Leather Boots

SO swamped with work. but with sleep-deprived clarity-of-mind in the wee hours of the morning a couple weeks ago, I took the plunge and bought over the knee leather boots. that I have been searching for FOREVER.  They finally finally finally came back in stock = Add to basket. Submit. Wait on hands.

They were $250 - the starting price of some dinky JCrew heels.  A steal for all the genuine leather and I was just happy Topshop restocked them after they sold out months ago!  Fitted around the leg, platform heel, none of that fake PVC stuff of jimmychoo for H&M land. 

I was debating the grey leather and black suede but seeing as I only have (read: must make) room in my closet for one pair of thigh high boots, I had to go with the classic black leather. Channeling Devil Wears Prada for the holidays, here I come! yay for finding my holy grail!

No IRLs yet, but I must say these are highly recommended. Yummy leather, perfect fit for me. I'm wearing these to Cirque du Soleil or out in the city for dinner soooon.  Any topshop or OTK boot fans out there?  What's *your* holy grail shoe?
